I’ve been working for a while with something called Mandelbulbs, which are sort of a 3D version of a Mandelbrot fractal. The software is weird and experimental and impossible for a non math guy like me to make sense of, as it’s a series of boxes to plug numbers into. But I’m slowly making headway, and these are some of the first pieces I’ve created. Any of these can be made into a print for you, just hit the Contact Form on this site and get in touch with me.

I’ve launched a brand new website, one that I’ve been kicking around for quite a few years, and decided it was time to do it.
Artsy Mondays will have a brand new piece of artwork offered every Monday morning, and now you can buy a print, online, with more options on  canvas and paper types, mats, frames, and glazing than I could ever offer.  I’ve got a FREE desktop wallpaper for you in the first posting, so go grab it, then bookmark the site and check back every week, or add the RSS feed to your feed reader to keep up with the new releases.

I am very happy to announce that you can find all of my available artwork in a brand new art gallery,  the Owl Tree Gallery,  located at 117 East Broadway in Lenoir City, TN.

I  have all my available work on display there, the gallery has it ALL  in one place, from framed and matted prints, artist trading cards, note cards, trinket boxes, everything.

They also have the brand new CD release of my artwork, which is designed to be used as computer desktop wallpaper or in your digital photo frame. See an earlier post with details on what this CD release is all about.

As promised, here’s better images of the latest set of Artist Trading Cards I’ve released.

These are bright and colorful pieces, they almost seem to glow on this high end watercolor paper.

Each of these designs have a total edition of 9. Once all 9 pieces of each design is sold out, there will be no more released at ACEO size.

All but Blue Feathers 1 are earlier pieces, which have almost become standards that people recognize in galleries when I’m showing.

For those fancy people out there with iPhones, I’ve put together some free wallpaper to use on your newfangled iPhone gadgets. I’ll be adding to this collection, but this should get you off to a nice start. Link

I’m going to do something different for you. I’ve created hundreds of fractal snowflakes and fractal stars. You get to go into the gallery and select one for yourself. I’ll render it out large enough to make a ceramic tile, and allow you to purchase either a ceramic tile beverage coaster, a framed ceramic tile to hang on a wall, or a ceramic tile inset into the lid of a nicely made, hinged wooden box. Once you’ve adopted your snowflake or star, that design will never be used again, it will be retired and moved to the Adopted Gallery.

This way, you can own a one of a kind item, with a design I’ve created.

How this will work- all you need to do is go to the Snowflake and Star gallery and select the design you want. You can visit the gallery here. Make note of the FULL FILE NAME of the image you want to use, contact me with your design number, and I’ll create a larger version to print up a box for you. You can order as many pieces as you’d like- this is your design, and you can make as many boxes with it as you’d like. However, you’re not limited, you can select ten different designs and order ten different pieces. The whole idea is that you’ll be able to order a one of a kind gift item, and working this way, it’s a reasonable way to own a one off piece.
